Zebedee fabrics was created back in 1982 by John Zebedee. He started small with only one retail unit at 120 Seabourne rd. In the early days John used to sell mainly car and boat upholstery fabrics, growing the business over the years into what it is today offering a huge range of fabrics for home furnishing, upholstery, dress, crafts and an ever expanding range of haberdashery and trimmings. As well as an upholstery service and made to measure curtains and roman blinds.
John retired in March 2014. Heidi and Carl Shelton became the new owners. Heidi was a customer of the shop for many years and spent many an hour losing herself in the fabrics and dreamed of owning a shop like this.
