Do I have to pay to get on to Bournemouth Pier?

Bournemouth Borough Council (BBC) operates a pier toll from the month of March through to October as an entrance fee to go onto Bournemouth pier. The current charge is £1.10 per person for a ticket. However this is valid for the whole season so as a local there is a benefit if you keep your ticket. There are exceptions for the Bournemouth Air Festival Dates.
