Cyclists are not observing the speed limit as they pass my beach hut, what are the organisation doing about this?
Following from the idea discussed at our AGM, we asked about the cost of ‘slow down’ signs on the prom to remind cyclists of the speed limit. This is already in hand within the Council’s budget. We asked if BBHA could cover the cost of one or two more signs to try and improve coverage. This will be explored and we will chase this up as we know it’s a big worry to many of you.

BBC intend to use this information to target their enforcement initiatives. They did advise to issue offending cyclist with tickets, they need the police to be present. Unfortunately, the police in Boscombe have not been supportive when approached to target offenders, but Bournemouth police have.
