Boscombe West Beach Newly Painted Beach Huts
Boscombe Beach is a sloping sandy beach that stretches from Bournemouth Beach to Hengistbury Head. It is family-friendly with a KidZone area and has a wide range of seafront activities including windsurfing, surfing, canoeing and beach volleyball courts. This is where you need to head if you’re the active sort: Water sports abound with the surf school along this stretch as well as kite-surfers and paddle-boarders. The Coastal Activity Park provides access to climbing rocks near Boscombe Pier, table tennis by Chine Gardens and gym equipment dotted along the prom. There really is no excuse not to be active along this stretch of the beach.
If that really does all sound like too much effort, you can hide behind your sunglasses, on your sun-lounger and watch everyone enjoying themselves from a safe distance! There area is serviced by the land train and there are accessible beach huts here too. With car parking on the prom, this is one of the easiest areas to access.
The 'Seagull and Windbreak' - modern beach huts
Four separate Accessible Beach Huts are contained inside a single building on the seafront in Boscombe called The Seagull & The Windbreak. The building that contains the huts is rectangular in plan and is made up of yellow green and blue horizontal pieces that form an exterior. The building can be reached by a wooden beach access track-way.
